刘林(南开教授)的个人简介
刘林,教授,博士生导师,国家杰出青年基金获得者,南开大学生命科学学院副院长。
刘林教授团队通过完全化学小分子的方法,将卵巢颗粒细胞重编程为具有生殖系转移能力的诱导性多能干细胞,进而分化为卵子,并通过正常受精获得了健康小鼠。该突破属世界首次,为保持生育能力、调节机体内分泌等研究开辟了新思路。
人物经历
1993年北京农业大学(现中国农业大学)获动物生殖学与生物技术博士学位。1994年至1998年分别在英国剑桥Babraham研究所、美国康奈尔大学,康州大学进行博士后和访问学者研究。1998年至2004年,在美国布朗大学妇产科系生殖医学实验室,任研究员、助理教授。1998年至2009年,美国海洋生物学实验室(MBL)兼职研究员。2005年获得国家杰出青年基金资助,2007 年被聘为南开大学生命科学院特聘教授, 兼副院长。
研究方向
在发育生物学和生殖生物技术领域,尤其是在最终能造福人类健康的胚胎工程和再生医学领域,进行基础科学及生物医学应用方面的研究:1)哺乳动物卵子老龄化、早期胚胎发育分子机制与技术工程研究;2)特异多能性干细胞端粒功能及重编程和转基因研究。
